As long as everything runs, nobody thinks about the network. Until a switch fails on the busiest day of the year, the wireless signal drops out at the back of the warehouse or a new site is not online in time. That is when it becomes clear how many processes hang on that one cable: tills, scanners, telephony, cloud applications and security cameras.
In many mid-sized organisations the network has grown in layers. A stretch of cabling from a refurbishment ten years ago, access points that were added on the side, a firewall configured by a previous supplier. Nobody holds the complete picture any more, and faults cost unnecessary time as a result.
A managed network means we restore that picture and keep it. We measure what is there, design what is needed, install and certify it, and then take over the management. One point of contact for design, installation, monitoring and maintenance, with agreed response times instead of separate invoices for every fault.

Structured cabling
Cat6, Cat6a and fibre cabling installed to the applicable cabling standards. We test every installation afterwards with NetAlly measuring equipment, so the signal quality is demonstrable, even when you scale up later.
Network hardware
Our engineers install and configure switches, routers, firewalls and wireless controllers. We select equipment to match your size and your growth path, not what happens to be in stock.
Network design and advice
An architecture that fits your organisation: scalable, efficient and auditable against the regulations in your sector. We substantiate the choices and document them, so you do not depend on knowledge held in one head.
Redundancy and failover
Backup connections and automatic failover that take over during a hardware fault or a failed line. The switchover runs without manual steps, so your processes keep going.
Network security
Firewall policy, segmentation into VLANs and intrusion detection, set up without getting in your users’ way. Guests, tills and management systems each sit on their own segment.
Wireless networks
Access points positioned on the basis of an on-site coverage survey, so the signal holds up at the back of the warehouse and in the concrete basement as well.
Network optimisation
We adjust configurations to spread the data traffic better: priority for telephony and till traffic, less delay in your business applications. After every change we measure again, so you can see what it has delivered.
Maintenance and support
Continuous oversight with monitoring software and support that runs 24/7. We see deviations before your users report them and respond within the response times set out in your SLA.

We never start by ordering equipment. First we establish what is there and what it has to do.
Network scan
We map your current situation: cabling, switches, access points, traffic patterns and bottlenecks. Including an on-site coverage survey where wireless traffic plays a part.
Design and advice
You receive a design with substantiated choices for topology, segmentation, equipment and redundancy, matched to your growth plans and your budget.
Installation and certification
Installation and configuration by our engineers, outside your peak hours where possible. Cabling and hardware are tested afterwards and handed over with a certification report per connection.
Management and optimisation
After that we take over the management: 24/7 monitoring, proactive maintenance, periodic review and adjustment as your organisation changes.
The work you no longer see afterwards
The quality of a network is decided above the ceiling and in the patch cabinet. How the cables run, how they are bundled and how generously the trunking is sized. That determines whether you can add a workstation later without opening everything up again.
Our installers do that work at your location and plan it around your operations: outside opening hours in the shop, between shift changes in the warehouse, wherever that is possible. Every connection gets a label that matches the patch list, so a fault later is a matter of looking it up instead of working it out.
