What TP-Link VIGI makes
VIGI is TP-Link’s camera side: network cameras with PoE and the recorders under them. It is the line you choose when the cameras may share the network with the rest and the management does not need to be more complicated than a single window. Anyone already on Omada keeps switch, Wi-Fi and camera in the same management environment.
Why TP-Link VIGI, and where it stops
VIGI is the obvious step when the network already runs on Omada: switch, Wi-Fi and camera then sit in the same management environment and no second portal appears. Where it stops: this is camera surveillance on your own premises, not a certified alarm installation with a monitoring centre. If your insurer or a standard asks for that, look at a different line.
