What Eaton makes
Eaton supplies backup power and power distribution for the server cabinet: UPS units from a small 5P to a 9SX carrying a whole rack, with the distribution strips beneath. Intelligent Power Manager talks to the virtual machines, so they shut down cleanly before the battery runs out rather than dropping dead.
Why Eaton, and where it stops
Eaton is a good pick when the UPS must not only bridge power but also shut down cleanly what is running. Where it stops: batteries wear out. A five-year-old UPS that has never been tested bridges minutes in practice instead of the half hour on paper, so schedule a test rather than an assumption.

Yes. We supply and configure, and whether the management stays with us is a separate choice. What we do not do is hand over a box and leave the rest to you.
