What Cohesity makes
Cohesity puts backup and the storage for it on one platform, writing the copies immutably: once written they cannot be changed or deleted within the retention period. That is the property that matters when an attacker goes looking for the backup first.
Why Cohesity, and where it stops
Cohesity is the choice when ransomware is the scenario you are preparing for: immutable copies cannot be encrypted by somebody already inside, not even with administrator rights. Where it stops: immutable also means you cannot remove anything yourself within the term. Set that retention deliberately, because it cannot be shortened afterwards.

Yes. We supply and configure, and whether the management stays with us is a separate choice. What we do not do is hand over a box and leave the rest to you.
