What Yubico makes
Yubico makes the YubiKey: a key on the keyring that takes over the second step of signing in from an SMS code or an app. The difference is that a key cannot be retyped or forwarded, so phishing in which someone hands over their code stops at a YubiKey.
Why Yubico, and where it stops
A YubiKey is the only second step that cannot be talked out of someone over the phone: there is nothing to read out and nothing to forward. Where it stops: keys get lost. Buy two per person, register the second as a spare, and settle in advance how someone gets back in without that route becoming the hole itself.

Do you fit them to new devices?
