Patton VoIP gateways
We are a Patton reseller: SmartNode-gateways, SmartNode eSBC, CopperLink, SmartNode Cloud. Delivered with the settings already on it, installed where that is needed, and with a price and lead time before you decide.
What Patton makes
Patton makes small, rugged gateways that tie an existing installation to a modern voice service. The SmartNode line covers everything from a single analogue line to a row of ISDN ports, which makes it the usual answer when a phone system, an alarm line or a lift cannot move to SIP yet.
Why Patton, and where it stops
Patton is the reason a migration does not have to happen in one weekend: you put a gateway in front of the existing installation and then switch at your own pace. Where it stops is the intent, because a gateway is an interim answer; leave it in place for five years and you are maintaining two worlds instead of one.

What the price depends on
We do not run a webshop, so there is no rate here that would not apply to your situation anyway. What is here is what the amount depends on, so you know what to send along to get one quickly.
- Model and configurationWithin one product line the gap between the entry model and the heaviest variant is large. Tell us what the device has to do and we pick the configuration that fits, rather than the most expensive one that would.
- The quantityOn a larger batch the per-device price comes down. Twenty at once is a different conversation from two, even when everything else is equal.
- What has to be on itA device delivered with your settings, software and security costs more than a box, and saves an installation day per unit. That is a choice, not a surcharge.
- Delivery and installationTo one address or to fifteen sites, with or without on-site placement, with or without taking away what was there. That difference is in the price and it is yours to steer.
- Buying or renting, and for how longThe same equipment can be a purchase or a monthly amount across three or four years. That changes not only the figure but where it lands in the books, and it is the conversation with the most in it.
What we do around Patton
Ordering a handset is the easy part. Whether it attaches to your phone system decides whether it works.
- Provisioning instead of typingThe handset fetches its own settings the moment it joins the network. That makes the hundredth handset as much work as the first, and no number is keyed in by hand anywhere.
- Attached to the phone systemWe do not supply separately from your phone system. Which handset fits follows from the platform you run, because not every brand speaks to every platform equally well.
- Firmware under managementUpdates are planned rather than automatic. A handset that stops registering after an update is an outage at reception, and that should sit with us.
- Swap on failureA replacement is on the shelf, so a broken handset is a swap and not an order. On a reception phone that is the difference between an hour and a week.
What Patton plugs into
What it hangs together with in practice. If you already run these, the brand fits onto what is there instead of beside it.
- SIP
- ISDN en analoog
- Microsoft Teams Direct Routing
- SmartNode Cloud

Frequently asked
Do Patton handsets work with our phone system?
In most cases they do. We check compatibility against the platform you run beforehand, so you do not find out once the box is open.
Which Patton models do you supply?
The business lines: SmartNode-gateways, SmartNode eSBC, CopperLink, SmartNode Cloud. Which one fits depends on who uses the handset and for what, not on what happens to be on offer.
Can we rent Patton as well?
You can. Buying is cheaper over time, renting keeps the monthly figure predictable and the replacement arranged. We work out both before you choose.
