What F-Secure makes
F-Secure is a Finnish supplier of security software for desks and servers, managed from a console in the cloud. As with Clavister, provenance plays a part: development and processing within the EU, which in a tender or a processing agreement can make a concrete difference.
Why F-Secure, and where it stops
F-Secure fits where processing inside the EU is a hard requirement and the security still has to be centrally managed. Where it stops: it is protection and not a monitored service. Anyone wanting someone to act on the alert needs an arrangement for that and not just a console.
