What Delinea makes
Delinea focuses on administrator access: the passwords with which somebody enters a server, a firewall or a database go into a vault, are issued per session and rotated afterwards. The company came out of Thycotic and Centrify.
Why Delinea, and where it stops
Delinea is the choice as soon as more than a handful of people know administrator passwords and nobody can say who all has them. Where it stops: this imposes behaviour that does not exist today. Expect resistance from administrators used to logging in directly, and put that transition in the planning rather than in the technology.
