Buffalo servers, storage and backup

We are a Buffalo reseller: TeraStation NAS, Rackmodellen, Back-up naar de cloud, Switches. Delivered with the settings already on it, installed where that is needed, and with a price and lead time before you decide.

Servers and storage

What Buffalo makes

Buffalo makes network storage under the TeraStation name: boxes for an office and rack models for a server room, delivered with the drives already in them. That last part saves a decision and a risk, because the drives are then tested in the combination in which they will run.

The trade-off

Why Buffalo, and where it stops

Buffalo is the choice when you want an enclosure that works the moment it is switched on, without first choosing and testing drives. Where it stops: the management layer is plainer than at the brands that made their name with it. For snapshots and replication in detail you get further with Synology or QNAP.

What the price depends on

We do not run a webshop, so there is no rate here that would not apply to your situation anyway. What is here is what the amount depends on, so you know what to send along to get one quickly.

  • Model and configurationWithin one product line the gap between the entry model and the heaviest variant is large. Tell us what the device has to do and we pick the configuration that fits, rather than the most expensive one that would.
  • The quantityOn a larger batch the per-device price comes down. Twenty at once is a different conversation from two, even when everything else is equal.
  • What has to be on itA device delivered with your settings, software and security costs more than a box, and saves an installation day per unit. That is a choice, not a surcharge.
  • Delivery and installationTo one address or to fifteen sites, with or without on-site placement, with or without taking away what was there. That difference is in the price and it is yours to steer.
  • Buying or renting, and for how longThe same equipment can be a purchase or a monthly amount across three or four years. That changes not only the figure but where it lands in the books, and it is the conversation with the most in it.

What we do around Buffalo

Supplying equipment is one thing. A network that holds on the busiest day is the work that follows.

  • Design before anything is orderedThe building and the usage first, the equipment second. A quote without a design is a guess with a price on it.
  • Configuration that is recordedSettings live in version control, so a replacement device runs like the old one within the hour.
  • Segmentation from the startGuest network, office and equipment kept apart, so one infected device does not take the rest with it.
  • Monitoring on itLines and equipment are watched, so a fault is known to us before you call.

What Buffalo plugs into

What it hangs together with in practice. If you already run these, the brand fits onto what is there instead of beside it.

  • Active Directory
  • Back-upsoftware
  • Replicatie
  • Cloudopslag

Delivered worldwide

We deliver in the Netherlands, Belgium and Türkiye from our own offices, and beyond that through our distribution partners. On a larger batch the per-device price comes down.

Frequently asked

Do you supply Buffalo on its own, without management?

Yes. We supply and configure, and whether the management stays with us is a separate choice. What we do not do is hand over a box and leave the rest to you.

Which Buffalo equipment do you supply?

The business lines: TeraStation NAS, Rackmodellen, Back-up naar de cloud, Switches. What fits follows from the number of sites, the number of devices and what is coming in the next few years.

Can you take over an existing network?

Yes, and that always starts with documenting what is there. At a handover it is usually the documentation that is missing, not the equipment.
