Working at ITproposal as an IT professional

We are continuously looking for colleagues for our service desk, our managed services team and our staffing assignments. This page explains which kinds of roles are involved; our vacancy portal shows what is open right now.

Our open vacancies are listed in our vacancy portal. There you will find the location and the requirements per role, and you can apply directly. This page sticks to the role groups themselves, so that nothing here goes out of date overnight. Nothing that fits at the moment? An open application is always welcome at [email protected].

Working at ITproposal

What you will and will not find here

An honest page is worth more to us than a full page. That is why we describe the role groups we recruit for on an ongoing basis, instead of vacancy texts that will already be out of date tomorrow.

ITproposal was founded in the Netherlands in 2019 and now works from three offices: Amsterdam, Antwerp and Karaman. We support more than 150 clients with service desk, managed IT, network management, cybersecurity, cloud and consultancy. On critical services we deliver 24/7 support.

That combination also determines who we are looking for. Some of our people work in our own teams, others work through IT staffing at a client. In both cases the same applies: you are approachable, you record what you do and you explain in plain language what is going on.

Is your field listed below and are you at an exploratory stage? Then send your CV and a short covering letter. We keep your details in our candidate pool and contact you as soon as a role comes along that fits.

The profiles we recruit for on an ongoing basis

These are the fields in which we have work and in which we keep our pool up to strength. A profile on this list does not mean a vacancy is open right now, but it does mean we would be glad to have the conversation.

Service desk agent

Logging tickets by phone, email and portal, setting priority and resolving as much as possible at first contact. You register neatly, you report back and you record solutions in the knowledge base.

System administrator

Keeping workstations, servers and Microsoft 365 running: updates, backups, permission management and rolling out changes. You pick up second-line tickets and keep the environment predictable.

Network engineer

Designing, setting up and monitoring wired and wireless networks across multiple sites. Think of switching, routing, firewalls, VPN connections and resolving faults that nobody else can pin down.

Security specialist

Mapping vulnerabilities, assessing alerts and implementing security measures. You translate requirements from standards and legislation into concrete steps that an organisation can genuinely take.

Cloud engineer

Preparing and carrying out migrations to Azure, AWS or Google Cloud, setting up environments and making the management afterwards transferable. You also keep an eye on what a cloud environment costs.

IT consultant

At the table with management and IT decision-makers: understanding the current situation, substantiating choices and drawing up a plan that can actually be carried out. You switch easily between technology and business interest.

What you can expect

The organisation you are joining

No promises we cannot keep, but an honest picture of how we work and where you will end up.

  • Three offices, one teamAmsterdam and Antwerp for client contact and support, Karaman for engineering and delivery behind the scenes. So you work with colleagues across several time zones.
  • Varied clientsSince 2019 we have helped more than 150 clients, from retail to healthcare and logistics. You see more environments than you would in a single internal IT department.
  • Broad service portfolioFrom service desk to consultancy: you are rarely stuck in one narrow box and your colleagues work in neighbouring fields.
  • Certified processesWe work in line with ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 27001 and ISO 14001, and we are Kiwa NEN 4400-1 certified. So you know where you stand.
  • 24/7 coverage, shared by the teamWe monitor critical services day and night. That load is spread across the team rather than resting on one person.
  • Short linesITproposal was founded by Enes Bagci and Tunahan Gider. The founders are still involved in how we work and who joins us.

How to introduce yourself

You do not have to wait until a vacancy is online. If you recognise yourself in one of the role groups above, we would like to hear from you.

Send your details

Email your CV and a short covering letter to [email protected]. Mention the role group that fits you best and the region in which you want to work.

Introduction

We contact you for a first conversation, by phone or by video. In it we discuss your background, your preferences and the kind of work you are looking for.

In-depth conversation

If there is a match, you speak with a colleague from the same field. That conversation is about practice: which environments you know and how you approach a fault.

Feedback

You hear from us what the next step is. If there is no suitable role right now, we keep your profile on file and contact you as soon as that changes.
